OT: And every man knew, as the captain did too, T'was the witch of November come stealin'

As haunting a song as I have ever heard.

In a rustic old hall in Detroit they prayed
In the Maritime Sailors' Cathedral.
The church bell chimed 'til it rang twenty-nine times
For each man on the Edmund Fitzgerald.

....................................................................May they rest in peace.

Are you saying T'Was the witch of November come stealing the Gopher's win streak. Every man knew and the quarterback too. With the gales of November remembered.

"The noise from the crowd made a tattletale sound,
When Journey broke over the goal line;
And Every Man knew and the Quarter Back too',
T'was the boys of Franklin come scorin'!"

As good as this song is I think The Circle Is Small is better. TEF is over played, and yes as previously stated the G-man is old.

“With a load of iron ore, 26,000 tons more, than the Edmund Fitzgerald weighed emptyyyy.”
