OT: Anyone belong or play Nemacolin Country Club outside of Pittsburgh?

Very nice course. This is not a country club but a top end resort. Very upscale and expensive. Golf course is very nice and well manicured. I think you will enjoy it if you are an above average player. Food is very good as well as the service. They have a pro type scoreboard that you can photoshop you names and scores for fun pix.

BWI ,Didn't notice you said this is new. I was referring to Nemacolin woodlands ..sorry

Believe its in Farmington, new club about 2 years old. Just watched 18 Holes with Jimmy Hanlin and course looked beautiful. Clubhouse was off thr charts with 5 diamond chef as well food looked excellent.
It's Nemacolin Woodlands you are talking about. There's also a Nemacolin Country Club near Richeyville just south of Pittsburgh. I have played both. The Woodlands is very expensive. They have 2 courses, Shepards Rock is the newest course and Mystic Rock is the old course that was updated for the pro's. They have a lot of business out of Pittsburgh as the Steeler's regularly visit because it is very nice but also very expensive. Joe Hardy, owner along with his daughter Maggie also own 84 Lumber. They spare no expense when it comes to building a nice resort.

I am not a golfer but I stayed at Nemacolin a few times and was very impressed. The golf courses appear to be well maintained. They have a great trapp shooting facility and offer guided fly fishing on local streams. There is definitely enough to keep you busy.I had the pleasure of meeting Joe Hardy and he is quite a character

Joe Hardy sure made a success of himself.
Wonder how his older brother Frank has done?
I loved reading of their exploits when I was a kid.

Yes thats it the Woodlands and they played Sheperds Rock ... Looked beautiful. Greens grown in nicely and true rolls. Lots of elevation changes and beautiful views on hilltop. Food looked incredible as well with the resort off the charts.
