Of course, "Dirty Harry", "The Blue Knight" (William Holden), and the "Starsky & Hutch" pilot movie.

Colors - 1988 - Robert Duvall, Sean Penn, Dir. Dennis Hopper.

Fort Apache the Bronx

But best example of a police precinct (movie or TV) was Barney Miller.
Per DEA acquaintance, best forensics is NCIS.

The 7 Ups
The Departed
Serpico
Training Day
American Gangster

Naked Gun

That's better. Young kids need to go back and see what they missed.

The Departed

btw, since my g/f is into action movies, but hasn't really kept up . . . we watched The Raid and The Raid 2 this weekend.

holy smokes, Iko Uwais is incredible. 2 of the best cop movies/action movies in the last 20 years.

'Training Day' is my favorite,..followed closely by 'Dark Blue.' Have a very high opinion of police officers even though both are negative portrayals. Just interested by LEO that will cross the line because it makes for such a compelling story.
