Ray is a complete kook whose theories are often Alex Jones like. I think a lot of Penn Stater's are drawn to him because they like the idea of Joe doing nothing wrong, but do not want the stigma of believing Jerry innocent. But his theories often make no sense.
First, the airplane story. It was reported by
radaronline.com, which is a fake news/gossip publication. Ray absurdly claims that Sara Ganim and no other mainstream media even mentioning it is because they were hell bent on protecting these 2nd mile board members. On the other hand, maybe even Ganim has standards. Anyway, I thought these 2nd mile board members were suppoosed to be huge Corbett supporters, and therefore Republicans. I highly doubt that these newspapers, who are almost always run by liberals, had any motivation to protect powerful Republicans.
Ray also implies in his latest piece that Victims 9 and 10 are
legitimate. In the past he acknowledge they are both full of shit, but has apparently pussed out in recent years.
Ray also believes that Allan Myers is not the "real Victim 2". This is completely absurd. The OAG had SIX years to find the "real V2" for the Spanier trial. Having that young man testify to abuse would have been the only way to get the felony charges against Curley, Schultz, and Spanier to stick. But they never produce the boy despite the fact that there were only two or three boys who had one-on-one contact with Sandusky during the relavant time period. They know damn well the boy was Allan Myers and know damn well he was not abused.
Ray has also theorized that regarding the summer 2011 golf foursome of Jerry Sandusky, Bruce Heim, Ryan McCombie, and Allan Myers, that Heim planted the idea in Myers head that he had quit the Second Mile in 6th grade, so that Myers would not be a "Second Mile kid" at the time of the McQueary episode and therefore the Second Mile could avoid liability. When you consider that Ray doesn't even beleive Myers is the "real Victim 2", this theory gets even more absurd.
Finally, regarding the fact that Jerry and Dottie took their (at the time) foster son Matt to multiple psychiatrists after his suicide attempt as a teenager. That fact makes no sense whatsoever if Jerry really was abusing Matt. Instead Ray has theorized that since one of the psychiatrists was Jack Raykowitz, that proves Jerry had Jack on-call to convince his victims they were not really abused.
