I was driving down in Virginia, including the Shenandoah National Park, and saw two different flags that appeared to be the same. They had an all blue background, with multiple six pointed stars on them. In one case, there was an American flag above and the blue/star flag immediately below, like you would see with a secondary state/POW-MIA/Don't tread on me flag. It didn't appear to be the Alaskan state flag, because of the placement of the stars and the fact that the stars were six sided. I googled it, and it appears that the flag for General Washington's headquarters had a blue background with many six pointed stars. Maybe these people were descendants of Washington, or merely patriotic... But I didn't think the flags I saw had as many stars as the photos of Washington's HQ flag. Are there any other possibilities for other flags?
