I know this is “old” news by now, but I work nights so I keep weird hours. Just happened to have tonight off.
So Pa rejected the Blue Jays playing in Pittsburgh. Totally justified IMO. The Pa gov’t must put Pennsylvanians first. There are valid concerns about the uptick of cases in Western Pa.
My dilemma: I’m a diehard Phillies fan and to this day my heart still stings from that ‘93 World Series. Now the Blue Jays May have to resort to playing all of their games on the road with some obviously being a designated as “home” games. If there is any year to do it, this is the year. No home crowds anyway. There won’t be fans in the stands. But, boy what a story that would make if they won the whole damn thing again. Kind of hard not to root for them a little.
