I graduated in '69. There was no class gift. I believe there was money set aside for a gift. Does anyone know if money is set aside for each class? If so, what happens to the money? And finally how does the class access the money & provide a gift? Thank you.

I vaguely remember voting as a senior. I think it comes from any unused monies from your fees, initial deposit, etc.

Couldnt tell you what my class ('83) gift was.

I 'donated' the $50.00 refundable student fee (or whatever it was called) I was set to be reimbursed for my 1997 class gift. That was the year a person sniped a few people from the HUB Lawn, so our gift was the pretty unremarkable Peace Garden. No signature sculpture or anything - not even a sign that I know of. I believe you can find a list of Class Gifts somewhere...

The Class of 1940 donated the Nittany Lion Shrine. No class gift before, or since, has matched it. None ever will.
