So apparently Colangelo has been running burner Twitter accounts to trash former players including Okafor and Noel, and used it to take shots at Joel Embiid after his injury last year. Some of the stuff those accounts said, if they could be definitively traced to him, would be extremely damaging.
I have no idea how he thought no one would figure this out. I'm not one to get into speculation too much but the writers seemed to have done a good job taking steps to verify their theories.
Embiid has already gone on Twitter about it and you can tell he's trying to play it cool/calm but he's clearly upset.
I wouldn't be shocked at all if this resulted in his ouster.
