OT - Does anybody bleach their teeth with at-home kits?

They seem to work for me. I buy the generic whitening strips and use half of them at which point someone usually asks,”Are you whitening your teeth?” So I stop. Haven’t tried the brand names. Usually use them once or twice a year. Doesn’t hurt to drink milk and get some sunshine too.

I get the gel and the trays and typically go overboard every couple of years. The bleach burns the heck out of my gums and causes intermittent headaches.

Please don’t use any of the bleaching materials for longer than directed.

had someone at work show up for a meeting with fluorescent teeth ... we all got a good laugh.

I have trays but they did not seem to help much. I go to the Dentist periodically for the whitening

Have you had much success?
I am doing do now as I have a crown and dentist suggested stronger in office treatment could overshoot the mark. It is a gradual process but seems to be working. Take pics to compare over time.

Use salt on your toothbrush. It’s cheap and it works. Just pour some on and brush - no toothpaste needed. Don’t do it every time but maybe a few times per week.

I used the gel before my wedding a few years ago. Never used whitening stuff before. Consequently, never had sensitive teeth before. I am thinking there's a causal relationship. I have to use sensitive toothpaste now.

I've never tried such a way for bleaching the teeth, as usual I go to my dentist every second month and he helps me keep my teeth the best shape and color. My dentist is a great person and a big specialist. I respect him so much for his personality. He is very friendly and kind to everybody. If you need a good dentist, check here: thehealthysmile.net. Stay safe and have a wonderful day!

Crowns and bridges will not bleach out like natural teeth so most dentist will ask patients if they intend to bleach in the future before choosing from a shade guide for permanent replacements.

Yeah, I actually tried bleaching my teeth at home a while back. It worked okay, but I found it a bit harsh on my teeth and gums.

I ended up going to my dentist, who suggested a professional cosmetic procedure that worked wonders! My teeth look great now, and I'm really happy with the results.

If you're looking for a reliable option, you might want to check out jeffreygrossdds.com, where the doc did an awesome job with my teeth. Good luck!
