Just watched that episode. Classic!

Detective 1: So, fully clothed Mr. Wormald by himself doing what?
Detective 2: Yeah, come on, man. What?
Jimmy McGill: sighs Squat cobbler.
Detective 1: What's a s-squat cobbler?
Jimmy McGill: Squat cobbler. You know what squat cobbler is.
Detective 1: No, I don't... I don't know what a squat cobbler is.
Detective 2: No, me neither. What is it?
Jimmy McGill: What? And you two guys are cops? Hoboken Squat Cobbler. Full Moon Moon Pie. Boston Crème Splat. Seriously? Simple Simon the Ass Man. Dutch Apple Ass. Guys, am I not speaking English here?
Detective 1: What the hell is a squat cobbler?!
Jimmy McGill: It's when a man sits in pie! He sits in a pie! And he... he wiggles around. Maybe it's like Hellman's Mayonnaise. It has a different name west of the Rockies. I don't know. But, uh, technically, he does a crybaby squat, so there's tears, which makes it more specialized. Not all pie sitters cry. But I'm gonna tell you something: This guy? He's a regular Julianne Moore once he gets the waterworks cranked up.
Detective 2: Pies? What? Like apple?
Jimmy McGill: Guys, I'm not the filmmaker here, all right? Banana cream. I... uh, peach. Oh, and there... And there is a costume involved.
Detective 1: snorts You've got to be shittin' us.
Jimmy McGill: Yeah, like I would make this up. Hey, the world is a rich tapestry, my friends. But trust me on this. You don't want to see it.

Even though Game of thrones is fanatasy I wouldn't really call it nerd TV.
My brother said the exact same thing until he started watching Game of Thrones and now he's hook like most people.
Seems like everyone says that until they actually watch it.

Alright, I will watch ONE episode, tell me which one to watch and I'll check it out...but I still say it's nerd tv, lmao.

Jeez, was reading this during a break in my work day and started chuckling out loud. It's the visual of jimmy doing the dialogue....his delivery makes it funnier

GoT is as good a political drama as anything that has ever been on TV. Sure, the show is fantasy with dragons and dire wolves and magic and giants, but that stuff is secondary to the political maneuverings of the characters and families.

Yeah, yesterday I was watching him negotiate with Tuco on how many legs he could break. Funny. And then he went to the restaurant and watched the guy at the next table snap breadsticks in two.

One episode? That's tough because the earlier episodes lay the foundation for everything and some story lines take years to resolve. I don't know that I could recommend just one episode, because the best ones are best because they've been set up so well. My vote for two worth watching, and certainly in my Top Five all time, would be:

S6E9 - Battle of the Bastards - This is GoT in all it's bloody, dragon fire glory. This episode resolves years of set up between two of the series' best characters - Jon Snow and Ramsey Bolton. This would be the episode to watch if you are a fan of big, epic fight scenes.

S1E10 - Fire and Blood - The Season One Finale - completely changes the game for Danaerys and all of Westeros. Will make you want to binge S2 ASAP.
