OT: Dwight Schrute

Probably one of my favorite shows (even with the last few seasons).

Bears, Beets, Battlestar Gallactica

Weird....I have a friend named Chuck Weed. Wonder if he hired him.

I never saw an episode when it was originally broadcast, but I've been watching it on Netflix and it's definitely laugh out loud funny. You know why? Because like all great humor, it's rooted in truth.

I miss about 2-3 minutes of each episode because at least once per episode something happens where I can't stop laughing & miss the next few minutes because I can't control myself.

The later shows are being run now on Comedy Channel. The show was just not the same after Michael Scott left. I watch Seinfeld, too, whenever it's on, and the last 2 years of the show also lacked something. They were really reaching for plots. Modern Family has also run its course.

Re: the Office, I agree to an extent. No way to replace Michael but I did like the Robert California character. But Andy went from being one of my favorite characters in seasons 3-7 to being a bit of a jerk but still ok in season 8 to being insufferable in season 9. No idea why they did that to him.

My 2 favorite Dwight Scurute quotes:

"I shot a werewolf once, but by the time I got to it, it morphed back into my neighbor's dog".

"The eyes are the groin of the head".

Dwight to Michael while they're in the city dump throwing trash at each other: "I hitched my wagon to a horse with no legs."
