OK, I could have Googled the term, but I'm looking forward to a snarky post or two, so I thought I would simply ask for some clarification.

I'm from Buffalo and although your statement is a bit of an exaggeration; the widespread Dyngus Day activities in Buffalo are something that interested people should experience just once in their lifetime. They started yesterday on Easter and go through Tuesday.

Wild, crazy, and festive are certainly understatements for this party. Just Google "Dyngus Day Buffalo" and you'll see that there are not only a myriad of venues all over the city (40-50 at a minimum), but certain sections of the city connect with trams, busses, and limos just to keep people partying and off the roads. It's a great time.

From the link's home page:

Dyngus Day always falls on the Monday after Easter. In 2015, Dyngus Day will take place on Monday, April 6th. Activities in the Buffalo-Niagara region have expanded to one week of events.
