I wish all the board the best and hope everyone gets to be with their families tomorrow. Here's an old Publix commercial - they always just nailed their commercials. Enjoy everyone, and share your plans/food/etc. if you'd like!

Sous viding a bone-in turkey breast, then deep frying it in my wing fryer to finish it off. 2 Turkey legs to fry as well. Also a spiral sliced ham. Potatoes and cornbread/bread cube stuffing. Gravy. The good cranberry sauce that slides out of the can and you can slice it. Publix Key Lime Pie.

Hey all. Hope you all have a great Thanksgiving. This used to be a giant day at my house....the biggest holiday of the year. My wife and I would host a big blowout for lots of family.

The turn of events in my life ever since my wife passed has made this an awkward time of the year. My gf’s late husband’s birthday is Thanksgiving day this year. She needs to rally with her kids, who understandably will have an emotional day. Also, my late wife’s birthday is Saturday, so my kids want to be home and do something Saturday together.

Tomorrow I’ll be a guest at my daughter’s fiancé’s family in north NJ. They are wonderful people and I’m very thankful that they are part of my family.

Enjoy your day tomorrow everyone and celebrate all of the good things in your life.

Penn State international students discuss what the Thanksgiving holiday means to them

Sengeh noted many of the international students who stay on campus try to get together over the break.

He said it’s a good time for “people to feel at home” and share a meal with one another.

Mai Antarasen, an international student from Thailand, also said Thanksgiving is a time to be with her community.

“I do like American Thanksgiving, this culture makes me feel warm,” Antarasen (sophomore-astronomy) said. “Since Thailand doesn’t have a lot of long breaks, I think this tradition is awesome for the family to be with each other.”

On Nov. 20, Penn State Global Programs offered a Thanksgiving dinner that Antarasen attended....

What part of N.J. will you be in? I’m in Montclair. Be happy to buy you a drink if there’s time.

Not quite that far north. Bridgewater area. Appreciate the gesture.Have a great day.

Back in the mid-90’s I spent parts of two years commuting back to Bridgewater from Chicagoland working for MetLife.

CF, Fonzie and I will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

Today would have been my dad’s 92nd. I loved him very much and I miss him.

Ah, today is the 45th anniversary of the Clint Longley Cowboys-Redskins Thanksgiving game, also played on the 28th. We ate after the game and it was the worst Thanksgiving ever. My dad was a die-hard Redskins fan and he massacred that turkey, chopping at it as if it were a piece of wood, with he rest of the table starting at him silently. Lol at the memory.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Hope your Thanksgiving looked more like this-

and less like this-
