I remember being at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier for a changing of the guard during a 6th grade trip in 1971. There was a group of kids a distance from us who were talking. The Commander immediately approached them and in a very loud voice, almost a scream, told them that there would be complete silence during the changing of the guard out of respect for the Unknown Soldier. I'll never forget that.amazing.....that's one tough son of gun!!!!
