Good luck with that. Odds of him making it thru a season w/o missing a game due to injury are 10,000 to 1 at best.
Amazing. The Bronco stench never seems to reach Elway. The local media not too long ago claimed Elway was the best GM in all of sport. But geez, he has really blundered the QB position post Manning
All due respect, it’s not like franchise QBs grow on trees. There are probably 20-25 other teams out there blundering the position on a yearly basis.
I think that was decided about a week after Flacco's injury. LOL. and you are right, its not going to work.
Pat Kirwan on the NFL radio said in his opinion, it might work, but you have to treat the QB position like the RB position, and that was you have to have 3 ready and active to play each week. So they already have RGIII, so if they really wanted to do this, draft a college kid that runs the same kind of O, not necessarily in the first round, and have him ready to go.
Ravens made the decision to go w/ Jackson before season ended. Flacco knew he was on the block, I think he got a good landing spot.

Manning was his own coach and in some ways GM. Elway was lucky to have him and it will be a disaster without him.
