Had it in Philly area (King of Prussia) 11+ years ago. Still 20/20. I would travel to the ends of the earth to do it again if I had to. I couldn't see the big E on the eye chart prior to surgery. 20/20 the next day. Had cloudy vision for 48 hours. After that, amazing. Some halos at night, but overall no problems.Anyone had lasik surgery in PA? If so any places you would recommend? Live in middle of state so do not want to go to Philly or Pittsburgh if I don’t need to.
Thanks.

I would not have been able to drive after the surgery. No way. It felt like somebody had shoveled sand in my eyes. Pretty sure they would not let you drive at all. My eyes were covered until the next morning. I don't think you will have a problem finding a surgeon closer to home though.Your point is well taken. I mentioned I did not want to travel too far because it will impact my wife and she will have to take time off work to drive me since I imagine driving right after is not a wise decision.
We paid $5,000. Different surgeries cost different prices and they give you those options. There are places you can get it done much cheaper, but we went with who we felt comfortable with.I've considered it for years. For those who have done it recently, what's the going rate?
