Looking for some help - my landscaper recommended Cast or Kichler brands, both seem pretty expensive we are talking in the $200-$300 range per light. Not looking for the cheapest option either, have had bad and frustrating experiences with the plastic crap Home Depot and Lowes sell.

Wondering if anyone has Cast or Kichler lights, and if so are they worth the price? Any other brands that might be a little bit cheaper but still high quality?

Check out inspiredled.com

We bought our under cabinet lights for our kitchen from them. We love them..

Just put in Kichler lights (sandstone dome color ) Cost was roughly $75 per light and I also bought the small spotlights for $50 each. You are going very high end with the price you mentioned. Landscaper installed them last month and they look great.

You might want to consider buying it yourself and installing. Really is very easy and many homeowners do their own. I did mine and just make sure you get good quality lights. I prefer aluminum housings for the lights as it holds up a lot better than anything else. Watch a couple youtube videos. $200 to $300 per fixture is outrageously high. But remember, get good quality stuff as the weather can beat them up fast.

We have Kichler. Product is very good. Ours are 13 YO so I have no current pricing experience.

For the love of God, please check out Volt landscape lighting at landscapelighting.com. Their stuff is first rate and much more fairly priced. I have been extremely pleased with their quality and service..

Is that just the cost of materials for the lights or is labor to install the lights included in those figures as well?

Can't possibly see anyone marking up the cost of something 1000%.

I am considering volt. They appear to be quality product, reasonably priced and website provides do it yourself instruction that appears easy to follow. Anybody have experience with volt?

As per my earlier post, I have a lot of Volt landscape lighting fixtures, and they are well made, high quality, HEAVY brass fixtures. I heartily recommend them.

Great thanks for the follow up....I somehow missed your earlier post but see it now
