OT: Link below; but what type of music does the board enjoy, you can list an artist if you prefer...

I love Rap music before it was labeled hip-hop; not my favorite that would be Eric B and Rakim but this 16 year old was off the charts in 1988

Never would have pictured you as a fan of the Paid in Full Posse. Two legends. I really dig Big Daddy Kane and EPMD but gravitated to the West Coast vibe once that hit. Now? Mostly singer/songwriters (Fiona Apple, Rufus Wainwright, Lera Lynn), 80s New Wave/post punk, 90s alt rock, jazz (Davis and Brubeck are two favorites), and some rap.

I prefer classic country up through the 1990’s and the few current acts that still do real country (Chris Stapleton)

Most 70’s music. Good lyrics and guitar riffs. Dire Straits, Dave Mason, Blind Faith, Bob Dylan, Doobie Brothers, J.J. Cale, Joe Walsh, John Lee Hooker, B.B King, Clapton. John Mayall ( saw him at Rec Hall ), Kenny Wayne Shepherd, LED ZEP, Kravitz, Molly Hatchet, Neil Young, Robbie Robertson, The Band, The Stones, Rusted Root, Greta Van Fleet, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Taj Majal, Toby Keith, Tom Petty, Tom Waits, Traffic, Traveling Wilburys, Joe Cocker (lived in Crawford, Colorado) Van Halen, Van Morrison, War, and The Doors. Plus a few other various artists haha .

Many good choices. I’d add jam bands such as Widespread Panic, String Cheese, Leftover Salmon, Phish and the ones that started it all, The Allman Bros and Grateful Dead. And possibly the most underrated band of the rock era, Little Feat
New to today’s scene I really like are Joe Russo’s Almost Dead and Billy Strings.

It varies from week to week. After the other week's Watchmen episode I've been on a ska/Desmond Dekker and The Aces kick.

If you’re curious about melodious Swedish black-metal... I’ve got just the band for you...

This guy is taking the baton and showing what 21st Century hard rock looks like

Saw them open for my favorite band (Iron Maiden) in 2017 and Ghost really blew me away. Turned me into a fan right then and there.

I mostly listen to punk, "older" metal (Metallica, Sabbath, Maiden, Pantera etc) and bands that came out when I was in college/grad school (Pearl Jam, Tool, Foo Fighters, etc). I'm fine with most classic rock and blues, but never seek it out. Some rap (especially older stuff) is fine.

I cannot stand country or anything with a religious component.

I like a lot of different styles but my main niche is 60's rock and then the NewWave/Punk era and now what they label as Adult Alternative. I also like a lot of Acid House and Electronica.
I think there is a lot of new music thats being done thats really, really good.
