Will be having several groups of relatives come in from overseas this year ( theyre retiring) and am looking for some terrific places to visit, eat at and maybe even stay at, ......but mostly to visit/see. Memorable in their own way. Bargains. Memories they can take home, besides the obvious highlights.
Im a big fan of DC and vicinity as a great place to be seen, savored and enjoyed. Visually it's terrific. I know there are many outstanding "lesser" places we dont hear much about that are deserving of time. Or that sound "boring" but really are remarkable.
So Id like to draw upon the wisdom of this group to put together several itineraries. Thanks in advance.
