OT...Machado rant after he got thrown at again....

Mount Vernon UMC is a gorgeous church though. Attended a church plant there for several years. East of 83 and West of 83 at Monument street are completely different worlds.

That it is... and it was built on the site of the house FSK wrote The Star Spangled Banner in. However, you do not want to get married in that church if it is sweltering hot outside. Since it is a historic landmark they are not permitted to install AC. We got married in June 2006 on Gay Pride Day, it was 95+ and insanely hot!

The Pride Parade went by MVPUMC and our ceremony started just after the parade ended, so we had some 'spectators'. LOL Before and After the ceremony there were stories rather hysterical conversations between our guests and parade goers. We saw one guy wearing nothing but chaps!
