A subtle, well acted study of how grief can impact the lives of everyone associated with it. This is a film based on dialogue and interactions that are not contrived or forced. Watching this film is like taking a peek into someone's real life. Casey Affleck, Lucas Hedges, Kyle Chandler, CJ Wilson were all great in their roles. Michelle Williams, even though her screen time is brief, provides a heart wrenching scene that points to how sometimes there is no healing or going back from tragedy. Affleck and Hedges should/will be nominated for their performances and the film itself should garner nominations for best film, directing, and writing. Well worth seeing.
