Most wins ever in PIAA. Don't know the number, but I assume he is closing in on 1,000. Choke on it.Does Insinger still play kids from Philly that beat up their girlfriends or not anymore?

You so grown up!I'll take that as a yes.
And good for him. I left high school rivalries in, ya know, high school. But enjoy the game.
You so grown up!
Mike came back to coach basketball and football when he was with the Orioles. My brother played then. I don't see him hanging it up after his kids are gone though. He has another son I believe in middle school. Tomorrow night is the fun game in the area. See Parsons up on the hill playing hoops against the millionaires. I will link it if they stream it.
I also think it's amazing that we can embed live HS basketball into a thread. When I posted my first .jpg and my first .gif back in the day, I never imagined this.
Pretty cool. BTW, I posted this so my Dad could watch.

It was that way my brothers Senior year with basketball. They fired a great coach and some parents with pull got a guy in there that was awful. They wanted to get their kids more playing time. Not sure on the basball. The area has been pretty rough on coaches even some pretty good ones. Parents power and pull is starting to outweigh the coaches desire to be there. I will check on the baseball coaching and get back in the A.M.

Travis Wurster is the montoursville baseball coach. Good young guy a montoursville native and knows baseball.
Valley inn definitely still open and if you haven't been in the area the last 10 years Some of it is like a whole new place. Have a gorgeous event room with tons of woodwork.
Still a local staple.
I played for Sock in the mid 90s, and I remember Mussina coaching JV basketball in his offseason. So I agree, I don't see him going anywhere just because his kid graduates.Mike came back to coach basketball and football when he was with the Orioles. My brother played then. You probably played against my brother then. He graduated in 95.I played for Sock in the mid 90s, and I remember Mussina coaching JV basketball in his offseason. So I agree, I don't see him going anywhere just because his kid graduates.

Yeah I know. Mussina's cousin was a senior that year also I believe at Sock. That would have been my sophomore year on the JV team.
Our Varsity was loaded that year, we beat Williamsport at Lycoming College late in the season, won the D4 AA title, but lost in the first round of states. Williamsport ended up playing for the AAAA state title but lost to Ringgold.

The plane crash. You are really dating yourself.Being an old Montgomery guy I can recall when sock first was built and not a problem for a few years. Montoursville was somewhere near Williamsport, we always lost to them and there was a terrible airplane crash on the mountain above there. Yes that was a nice time to grow up in the late 50's/early 60's.
Millionairs win 74-59. Stanley Scott with 34 points.http://www.webbweeklylive.com
