What is the ‘signature’ thing about NH ‘apizza’? Just want to make sure I’m getting the right thing for a baseline…

Proud dad moment - my daughter auditioned for and was selected to be in The Washington Ballet’s annual performance of The Nutcracker (it is essentially the same as the original but with DC locales/characters). Anyway, there is a New Haven style pizza place close to where she rehearses and I’m thinking of getting some for the game tonight. What is the ‘signature’ thing about NH ‘apizza’? Just want to make sure I’m getting the right thing for a baseline…

Beeeeeeeer with that pizza!!

Congratulation to your daughter. As others have said, the coal fired oven is what makes it uniqu, not that you can taste the fossil fuel. It gets charred from the high temp. Super crispy.
