Just curious, what's the Board's opinion on those "authentic", cheap, jerseys from China? I see a lot of jerseys for around $25 to $50 on the web- obviously counterfeit and probably something the Feds just can't keep up on-- are they worth it? An authentic NFL jersey, for example, is nearly $300- NCAA jerseys are around $230... and with PSU jerseys, you can only get no. 1, the current year (18) an 95 (the last year we went undefeated) yet on the web you can get any number you desire. I guess the moral dilemma is whether you find it wrong to withhold huge profits from Nike or if you think it's okay that Nike is charging nearly $300 for a jersey that is likely only costing them pennies to produce- plus the cost of whatever lisence they have to pay to produce jerseys for certain leagues and teams (I did a good job hiding my opinion there, didn't I?.
Not judging here, just interested in folks view on this. I bought a NYYankees jersey from China and tbh, it was excellent quality. When I bought it, I got a message that came up from a US District Court notifying me that it was counterfeit and that I was under no obligation to pay for it.
It's been slow around here, other than MSU, so I figured I'd throw out something new and different. Opinions welcome, but please refrain from insults regardless of what side you come down on.
