Got up this morning. A sunny day. Had some coffee then went outside with my camera to take a few pics in the yard. But looking thru the camera everything seemed so ....dull. Thought my glasses were fogged over but cleaning them didnt help. Later in the day it was brighter but still didnt have anywhere near normal light intensity. Thought my cataracts had gotten to the maximum limit and I needed to see the doc. Then I checked the www and found the article on smoke reaching the East Coast.
It was a very strange sensation, looking for sunlight and finding maybe 1/3rd of the normal intensity. And being unable to take a decent photo because of the dimness.
