As an avid sports fan, I make it a point to take note of when characters in a TV show are watching sports on TV, what sport are they watching and what game is it.
Does anyone know how the licensing works for that? In other words, you rarely see pro sports being watched (it's usually college) because I'm guessing it is cheaper to get the rights to three seconds of a college game.
This popped into my head because I'm watching "Master of None" (good comedy on Netflix if you like that sort of thing) and there is a scene (S2 E6) where the doormen at a apartment building are hanging out in the break room and the game on TV is PSU vs Syracuse (it must have been the 2009 game because it looked fairly recent and was at PSU).
Anyone have any other interesting "finds" in this realm?
