I'll throw this out there... Derrell Revis had all charges against him dropped yesterday, and word on the street is he is very interested in The Steelers. So would you sign him, of course he isn't going to get top salary at this point in his career? I'd do it if he comes in at a low salary cap hit, say 2 years at $2.5 mill per year? He would provide some depth and would free up a draft pick for additional depth at a position of need... maybe draft a RB in Rnd 2?

His contract situation is a little complicated. He is due $6M from the Jets with an offset clause. IOW, he gets $6M no matter what. If he signs for less than $6M, he still gets $6M. Why play for less than $6M if you can do nothing and still get $6M. I guess maybe to prove you can still play?
