OT: Super Comic Nerd Boner: Avengers Infinity War Trailer/Crisis on Earth-X

ok dude semi spoiler buuuuuut . . . my g/f also said the show wasn't as violent as she expected. then we dropped the last 3 episodes last night.

She actually reached her limit and had to pause it once, LOL.

overall AMAZING series that really nails the Punisher character in a very complex and interesting manner

On episode eight - really love this show. Great actors and characters especially Ben Barnes as Billy (also great in Westworld), Amber Rose Revah as Madani, and Daniel Wolcott as Lewis. Nothing seems wasted here. Still not enough Deborah Ann Woll though.

As an aside, I believe this qualifies as Nerd Boner inducing...

Wanted to add I luckily caught an interview with Bernthal where he was talking Punisher but also mentioned how proud he was of a film he did recently callled Sweet Virginia. Supposed to be a tense thriller set in a small Alaska town. Available to rent on iTunes - gonna check it out soon; looks really cool.

putting my nerd pants on for a second . . . The Dark Phoenix Saga was one of those revolutionary storylines that changed the face of comics for decades. And it has (IMHO) the most definitive character arc of Wolverine which has (for some odd reason) NEVER been brought to the silver screen

Need a proper Hellfire Club with Jean as the Black Queen (and no Kevin Bacon as Sebastian Shaw - maybe worst casting ever in a Marvel movie; wait - Jessica Alba as Sue Storm - my bad). My only concern here is this is a much younger Jean Grey than the one in the comics who becomes the Dark Phoenix.
