Yesterday my wife and I flew into Atlanda from Austi, Tx. to see the Eagles in concert. It is one of the few things that I would do and miss a game. The concert was fab and I was able to take looks at my phone to follow the game progress.
While watching the concert I was struck by the teamwork on display. I had the chance to see Jay Paterno talk to our Alumni group and read a lot of his book on our trip to Atlanta. So much of what he talked about was how Joe Paterno was all about team. The Eagles had brought on 2 new members for this tour, Glenn Frey's son and Vince Gill. I was so impressed with Vince. A star on his own, for this preformance he was an Eagle. While he had several songs that he was lead, he was fully there on every song no matter what his role. So even though I missed seeing the game live, (it is on my DVR), I know no matter where and what I am doing my life and the lives of many are so enriched by the Penn State experience.
