OT: The Goldbergs strike again . . . 1990-something episode

I think that spinoff could work. The cast of supporting characters from The Goldbergs is very strong.

Not to hijack the thread, but does anyone watch Happy? I find it disturbing yet quite interesting. Also interesting to see how the f bomb continues to creep into cable shows.

if you follow the show, this week's episode was the proposed spin-off pilot set in the 1990s

Mr Glascott (Tim Meadows) is promoted to principal, and as he hangs his diploma on the office wall, you can see where he went to college . . .

I caught that as well.
But it's not a real diploma. The year was 1979, which happens to be the same year I graduated from psu.
The diploma they showed looked nothing like the real McCoy.

I have a feeling they didn't pay the licensing fee to Penn State for their logo . . .
