Massive fire hits a storage building near Pittsburgh that had hundreds of classic cars and boats. One guy said 'It was full of Porches and Ferraris'

Godber, who has rented space inside the building for five years, said there were several rare and collectible cars stored there. They included a 1920s-era Bugatti race car that was valued at more than $2 million. There were also several Ferraris, Bentleys, Jaguars and classic hot rods.

I'll ask the question:

Insurance scam?

The full article said the fire likely started while a guy was working on his motorcycle, and the building was known to have a faulty sprinkler system

And the owner was next to a porche when the fire started so he hopped in and drove it out. He wanted to go back in and get the bentley but it was too late.

Wow, that's bad- somebody is going to get cleaned out, if they have anything to lose.

Let’s see, I have classic car worth a lot, I think l’ll store it in a place that “was known to have a faulty sprinkler system”. NOT

Big Brother had a 68 GTO convertible when I was a youngster. I would love to get my hands on one of those today.
