I'm just not a fan. At the very least, it takes away from the attention the high school games and those kids deserve. Secondly, and maybe I'm thinking just Penn State here, what a logistical nightmare getting 100K+ in on a Friday evening.
For both of these reasons, I can see why Penn State opted out (and will continue to opt out) of hosting a Friday night game. It would be a flat out d!ck move to upstage State College High and the other local area high school games, not to mention they'd risk lower attendance (and thus lower revenue) with a Friday night vs. Saturday afternoon or evening game.
