The Redskins, Cowboys and 49ers are flirting with the idea of an unprecedented three-team quarterback blockbuster.

The three organizations could soon discuss a trade that would send Kirk Cousins to San Francisco, Tony Romo to Washington and draft-pick compensation (including the No. 2 overall pick in April's draft) to Dallas, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Friday, via sources informed of the potential talks.

To be clear, the proposed swap is in a stage so preliminary that serious negotiations have yet to take place -- and might never reach fruition.

As a Redskins fan, I say no. Could not tolerate Tony Romo as Redskins QB......and Dallas getting the #2 pick as a result.

Are they that stupid? As a Skins fan, the answer to that question is a resounding yes. They won't do it though, they will instead trade their first round picks for the next 10 years to Cleveland to resign RGIII.

That's too good to be true fom the Cowboy's perspective. Tony Romo for the #2 pick in the draft?

Why would the Skins want old and fragile Romo over Cousins?

Once Dannyboy decides he doesn't like you, he'll make your exit the priority, not the team.

I would never give up the 2nd overall pick for a QB that's Romo's age with his playoff record and injury history. That's world class stupid.

No need to trade for Tony Romo, just wait till the Cowboys release him, which they will have to do because they can't afford the cap hit.

I call BS... Tony Homo for a 4th round pick maybe, 2nd overall pick no chance.

Honestly, every time I see Ian Rapaport's name attached to any "insider" information, I take it with a big grain of salt.

Geez, I hope so! If he can't handicap the Cowboys anymore then the Redskins are the next best thing.
