I would normally go with whiskey for a dual of this caliber, but I am in a Belgian ale mood today, so La Chouffe and Houblon Chouffe it is for me.

I feel like such an amateur.
"Caribou Slobber" - a brown ale homebrew that I bottled a couple weeks ago that is a favorite with both guys and gals. I add extra malt to give it a bit more kick.

I think the ADA covers extreme fandom as a legal disability that demands accommodation. I think the board here gives you a green light to some libations during the dual.

Yep - it's amazing how efficient you can get when you stay focused (or are retired...😁). I have six brewkits lined up, starting with a Scotch Ale. Think I'll wait until the polar vortex passes before I start on that though!
When I first started brewing I asked the guy at the supply store when I would get to economies of scale so it was cheaper to make than buy. He laughed at me.

I'll drink La Chouffe but prefer McChouffe or N'ice Chouffe. Especially McChouffe.
Some people on the internet think it will be a 5-5 barnburner. 🤣
I do my own distillation, of water that is. I just used it to make a Laird superfood instant latte. I'll probably switch to straight water next; neat, of course.
