OT - What Are We Drinking Tonight?

missed this last night, but i had the state vs everybody pale ale brewed by flying fish for champ's, which i picked up when i was in town last week. it's a serviceable pale ale and well worth the $10/6pack

If you love Duvel like I do, give La Chouffe a try. Nearly identical at about 2/3rds the price.
I like La Chouffe and have some in my beer closet. Yes they are very similar. I'm not usually a blonde beer guy but I drink one occasionally to mix it up, as I normally drink really big, heavy beer. On a rare occasion I might have a Bitburger or Warsteiner, or even a saisson. Emmaus has probably the best beer store in the world. Shangy's. I used to spend two hours in that store when I lived in Macungie.

The Dude abides!

A day late, but Ramstein Brewery near me rolled out their limited edition draft Icebock today. It's a powerhouse. But it tips the scales at 15% abv.
The poor Dude is now homeless due to the fires. I wonder if he knows it yet and I hope someone saved his rug and bowling ball!

What are my options? :)

What is the better alternative?

I’m in my early 40s and my elderly patients say this to me all the time, to which I reply in kind. But I surely get the sentiment.

The past few nights/events I’ve imbibed the same thing as usual. Some form of 120+ proof bourbon (KC, Booker’s, ECBP, etc) neat in a Glencairn.

I’m a creature of habit.
