OT: What was the first movie you saw with your future spouse?

Lucky Numbers...a really terrible movie with John Travolta and one of the girls from Friends.

Now married 11 years.

Mine was in 1966 also. Don't remember the movie but it was at a drive-in (Clearfield, Pa). This year will make 47 years for us.
Congratulations on 47. Where, generally speaking, are you in Michigan?

If you say that you own a 5 acre lot/house on either Lake Charlevoix or Torch Lake, I may need to marry you. :)

Thanks. It's coming up in May and I thought I'd rent the same movie. :D Seriously though. I agree with you and I'm working on some ideas. I've actually remembered the date every year with at least a card but this year I will spend some serious cash.

Going all out with a HALLMARK card?

Seriously, OUTSTANDING AND CONGRATS!!!!!

The Big Chill.

We had a group of friends that would get together every 3 to 4 weeks, get blasted, and watch The Big Chill. Good times for sure. We got married about 3 years later and 27 years after that we're still going strong.

V for Vendetta at whatever theater used to be beside what was then the Gman.

There's often an elephant in the room on a first date.....!

In our house there are elephants in every room (my wife absolutely loves them). One reason why my sig pic is an elephant. We are actually adjunct members of the Elephant Managers Association.

I can't remember though what the first movie we saw was. I do know that the first time we hung out, I met her at the summer outdoor theater in Schiller Park. Not sure what the play was, though. I think a musical adaptation of a Shakespeare play (can't remember which one). We had a big fight on our first real date--worked it out and have been married for 24 years this September.

I did take her to see PSU-Syracuse when we'd only been dating a couple of months. I wanted her to know what she was getting into. She's been a PSU fan ever since (though born and raised in Columbus).
