OT: Where the **** am I? [link]

BTW, I find this much more enjoyable (and challenging) if you vow to not move the google earth camera (only a 360 degree view) and force yourself to guess where you're at right off the bat.

What would be really cool is if they tapped into your GPS system and had google street views of where you have been in the recent past. Then you could guess on where you were.

Last night, had dinner with friends. We booked a place to eat on Open Table a couple of weeks ago. We had a glass of wine at my house then my phone buzzed...open table telling me, based on where we were at that time, traffic and distance to the restaurant, it was time to leave. Way cool.

Pretty neat! 13,338 world map
I've had a couple in the USA (w/ no cheating) where I got each of the 5 under 500 miles. Fun to look at the seasons and the foliage and try to determine. Then you'll get one that you swear is upstate NY and it comes back CA!

Q? Is looking for clues (street signs and such) cheating?
Well, it depends. You could spend an hour and I'm sure finish within 15 miles total by traveling miles and miles and doing a lot of google searches. I just find it more fun to have to figure it out w/out doing that.
