Anybody know why Indiana ended up with only 2 points in their 39-2 drubbing by Nebraska today? I'm assuming they lost a penalty point? Wrestlestat shows Nebby winning every bout except heavy, which Jacob Bullock won by DEC over Harley Andrews.

Realbuto beats Paniro 10-7 in OT. Paniro gave up 4 stall points the last 2 with :03 left to send it to OT. Schwab and Dresser had to be pulled apart during a stop in the match. Pretty awesome atmosphere and good match
LOL paniro stalling?sounds about right!

Track shows 1 team point deducted for "coaches conduct"

At 141, No. 6 Brock Hardy wrestled No. 26 Henry Porter. Hardy had an impressive performance and used six takedowns to claim the 20-5 tech. fall victory, his fourth of the season. During a challenge from Indiana, the Hoosiers were penalized one team point for coach conduct.

Met a legend today. Boomer Sooner ran roughshod over Sparky. Nicky Pushups was also there, but wasn’t sure about letting my kids get too close. Zeke remains the man. All the kids got to come down on the mat and wrestle for a few minutes after.

As good a dude as you will find, as far as I can tell. I went to the ASU social after nationals last year and he represented himself and the school as any parent would want from their son.

How did the twins get to that match so fast?

Exchange is here. Paniro was definitely stalling hard at that point.

Schultz doesn't get lifted like that often. (Though he was lifted with a hi-c, not a double.)

Wow the big man from Lehigh showing some athleticism, technique, and speed. I know both of these guys are strong and are solid wrestlers, but how can you be involved in a rigorous sport like wrestling and be that flabby?

PS: loved the Lehigh bench reaction to that move and points.

Did Colton muscle up this year or does a singlet "make him look fat"?

Definitely was. The double stall call didn’t decide the match, the takedown in OT did. In a different perspective Paniro built enough equity to sustain two stalling calls and win the match in OT.

Seems like Lehigh in particular has figured out how to lift him up and put him down.
Remember this one, around the 13:15 mark?

Too bad Wood wasn’t able to finish, though.
It really was a great head pinch by Schultz. Probably the 2nd best one I've ever seen. We could nitpick over how Wood didn't finish, but IDK what he realistically could've done differently from there, with that head pinch so tight and with such limited time remaining.

It was a fun sequence, for sure.

Ok, I'll ask - what is going on in Tempe? ASU is 4-8 on the season with wins over LIU, Embry-Riddle, Arizona Christian and Cal Baptist.

well they never got close enough to touch!

While true, I think Sunkist ending was the main catalyst for guys being more open to going elsewhere. DT getting Valencia hurt as well.
That’s a good point. Didn’t help.

I wonder, if a wrestler has true aspirations of moving into international wrestling, if the Sunkist pull overcomes HWC/bag pull. Tough to say no.

This and they have also had some decent recruits in the last couple years that haven’t lived up to expectations
Absolutely. Cael Valencia, Jesse Vasquez, Chlebove, and Kilic were all pretty big recruits who haven’t panned out at all. They have some good young guys though. Emilio Ysaguirre, Nicco Ruiz, Manville, and the Larkins is a pretty tough group of young guys.

Lehigh has a good engineering program. Maybe they figured out how to lift a ton.
