was priceless. Jimmy rigging the bingo game to complete the chill!! it looks like Kim is in a world of hurt, physically and professionally. I still wonder why she got stuck in what appeared to me 'non mud'.
Mike's world is in for a change, and Gus is driving what's his name nuts, without saying very much!!

What else did I miss?

The Madrigal HQ waiting room very clinical looking. Seeing that dork on the Segway whiz by was perfect.

Lydia was in fine form. Mike dueling with her was a great scene. Lydia thinks she's just dealing with some small time schlub

Another really good episode but I felt sorry for Irene.
I really hate Chuck. LOL.
Ok Spoiler so stop reading if you didn't see last night's episode....

I missed Kim's car accident how did it happen?
I really like Kim but I think her time is drawing to a close.:(

I think either her mind was wondering off on the case or she fell asleep, it happened so fast , (remember Jimmy asked her earlier if she had pulled another all nighter)

Haven't watched it yet but will soon - I will say this group has great taste in television, and everyone here should be watching American Gods on STARZ (you can sign up for a trial of the app and binge all the episodes - if you like it, it's recurring at $8.95 a month).

great interview with Peter Gould on the worst thing Jimmy has now done:

After watching slippin' jimmy just sink lower and lower, I don't know how anyone can root for him over Chuck. Let's not forget, slippin' jimmy hasn't even gone as low as he will.

Chuck's about to unleash hell on jimmy, and jimmy most definitely has it coming. I wouldn't be surprised if jimmy tries to help Kim and Chuck finds out about it, and/or f's with jimmy's early settlement.

Yep Chuck and Jimmy appear to be cut from the same cloth it seems. Some of the best lines were from Howard, however, referring to Jimmy as Gollum and telling him to bring a tin cup next time.
Both McGill brothers are singular in their approach to getting what they want via whatever means are at their disposal.

I have a feeling Howard is just sick of the McGill brothers, but he's burying himself with his attitude

She fell asleep. Screen went blank and then she woke up. Hard to root for any character now other than Nacho. Not a good episode for any of the main characters.

IDK I don't think Kim did anything for me to root against her and Jimmy while yea it was a dick move and I felt sorry for Irene but
he was kind of right. They weren't getting any younger and all that time was going to do was give the firm more money. I just hope Irene got all her friends back.....Yea, yea, yea I'm a softie. LOL.
Chuck on the other hand, I have not found one likeable quality about him.
I know what Gus turns into but I like this version of him. I especially liked how genuinely concerned he seemed to be about his employees.

The difference being Chuck will assault you to your face, directly. Jimmy relies on guerilla tactics, setting things in motion behind the scenes to lure you into his trap. That way he can maintain his image as the "good guy," while Chuck comes off as a prick.
This episode, I think, also shows that Jimmy doesn't really care about Kim, except selfishly for his own gratification. The scene in the office where he doesn't care what she has going on, and keeps trying to get her to blow it off and party with him was really poignant to me. Reminded me of some of my late teens, early 20s relationship missteps. Jimmy's old enough to know better, but his narcissistic personality still runs his life.

Agree about Jimmy and Kim. If he really wanted to be there he should have offered to drive and then they could party afterwards.
Total DBag move on his part.

I have a different take, as I was discussing the overall arc of the show with my g/f.

Jimmy clearly "becomes" Saul Goodman. how he gets there is a combination of being slippin jimmy, but also how his efforts to succeed and do the right thing are constantly thwarted by the machinations of unsavory people.

We can discuss all day how Jimmy came to be suspended, but its roots are in the fact that Chuck (right or wrong) completely screwed him over. Jimmy hasn't been able to make a living as an attorney, and he has been scraping, and Kim has felt the need to pick up the slack because she really loves Jimmy.

but in that scene in the office, Jimmy is telling her . . . hey, Sandpiper settled. I'm a millionaire now. you don't have to burn the candle at both ends to make ends meet.

Kim is in power mode, though. she knows she is stressed and running on fumes, but chooses to make the drive to the new client anyway.

No question Chuck is unlikeable and dedicated to getting Jimmy. Even though settling was best for those involved, Jimmy's motive was selfish. I bet that Jimmy gets caught on his scheme with Irene and somehow, that causes him to lose his share of the Sandpiper money.

Yea I agree I don't think we've seen the end of "Sandpiper", especially since Howard knows that Jimmy was going after the settlement. thought was an incredibly stupid thing for Jimmy to do. He knows Howard dislikes him why he thought going to him would help is beyond me.

Agree but I still think Jimmy should have said hey lets talk about this on the way, I'll drive. You wont have to work so hard anymore. I like both Jimmy and Saul versions. Its kind of like the Jessica line from Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
"I'm not really bad I'm just drawn that way".
Its the jerks around him who help him "break bad".
