Big Deal Frau Barron and pansy Ira Lubert are 10 and 3 respectively. Of course, her predecessor Joyner wasn't able to crack the list so there's that.

And ahead of her are Serena Willaims, Billie Jean King. Condoleeezaa Rice and eight other women you've never heard of. Whoop-de-fvcking-do.
Wow..good for her wish my name showed up in Forbes for any damn thing...well maybe not anything;)

Art, Sandy's got this. Give early, often, and in large amounts.

She'd better hope that the people raising money for her are better than those in the same functions for the University in general otherwise her Plan is DOA.

Whatever do you mean? Excellent people surround themselves with excellence. A culture of excellence starts at the top.

The percentage of folks who have any realistic understanding of what a Major College AD does or doesn't do - and what their responsibilities and achievements are - would be a small minority.

The number of people who would have spent the time and resources to access information allowing them to intelligent address the performance of even TWO ADs, let alone every AD in the country (and include them in some "ranking"? o_O)...... that number would probably be in the single digits.

Cue "WRONG METRICS!!!" ..... as if such an invocation somehow serves as an antiserum for ignorance and stupidity.

You act like it's difficult to comprehend: hire a small army of beaurocrats to do your job, and then manage the bloat that is now indispensable and too big to cut. The primary goal of building a dedicated reason to keep costs artificially high is then achieved.

With all due respect, what does that have to do with her?
Someone else hired Franklin, Rose, Chambers, Sanderson, etc, all of which good ole Sandy never misses a photo op.

To date, she has hired a gymnastics coach.

She needs to address baseball, softball and women's hoops as a minimum.

Prior to her stewardship, we had been the top team in the Learfield for a couple of years.

Last two years, we have finished behind both OSU and Michigan and will finish behind OSU again this year.

Based on my long history of observing structure growth in the military, she has certainly mastered that aspect of it.

I will admit that I don't see all that she does or does not have to do, but color me as unimpressed.

Believe she has also hired a women's hockey coach and a men's soccer coach.

Hope you're a patient man Art.

Moi?

IIRC from last year's presentation, specific designs for the elements of Phase I were to be unveiled in 2018 and construction was to begin on some of them.

Sandy could resurrect Joe, raise enough money to complete the entire master plan with no debt, and hire Brad Stevens to coach basketball, and some of you would complain she didn’t know what she was doing.

Oh, Sandy knows what she's doing. That's the scary part.

I saw the list, mostly pro sports executives, a couple athletes, coaches and announcers.

All due respect to those on the list, but it looked like someone just googled "women in sports" to make that list as it's pretty random.

It’s good publicity for the athletic department. I’d take it for what it is, and not worry about it.

Very clear illustration that there are not enough powerful women in sports......

Or that women, and men for that matter, with half a brain have a much greater chance of doing well in other professions.
