Our girlfriend Jemele Hill is leaving SC6

Doesn’t sound like a promotion. I have never heard of the Undefeated.
ESPN SportsCenter anchor Jemele Hill is leaving the 6:00 p.m. SC6 edition of SportsCenter to join the staff of The Undefeated, the ESPN microsite that fuses sports, race and culture, as well as other additional assignments.
Doesn't seem like a promotion.

Maybe the additional assignments will include weather coverage.

Jemele Hill knew about Nassar. Anyone who was ever employed by or who attended classes at MSU knew about Nassar. They all knew. Kick them out of the Big Ten. Burn the place down. I'm sure Delany will be all over it.

Couldn't understand what Jemele's appeal was, but what do I know about the Worldwide Leader's choices. They still give Dan LeBatard (with his dad as a sidekick) air time.
Funny you say that, I literally saw their “act” for the first time a few weeks ago and sat there somewhat stunned and wondered when and what the punchline was going to be......but lo and behold that show is actually a thing I guess. Just brutal tv. Aside from their relatives, I really have to question the sanity of someone that actually watches that show.

She is going to The Undefeated.

Funny, once she saw which way the wind was blowing, she went after MSU pretty hard. Took long enough. There is only one thing worse than a self-righteous hypocrite, and that is a self-righteous hypocrite with no backbone.

Good. The Re-Launched Sportscenter is a dumpster fire and she is a big reason why.
So what ever happened to the rumored mass ESPN layoffs that was supposed to happen last month?
I thought maybe thats why Herm Edwards bailed.

OMG everyone ever associated with that show should be fired and the set burned to the ground and the earth salted.

I am definitely going to bookmark this Undefeated site from ESPN. Who doesn't want a fusion of sport, race, and culture website so i can get random people's opinion on things, seems like a winner to me.

ESPN excels at airing shows which are simply a platform for random people's opinions.

Everything I've ever read from The Undefeated has mentioned race within the first few paragraphs. She'll fit in perfectly there

Jemele Hill, eh, I don’t have much of an opinion either way. But I will not stand for the Dan Le Batard slander. His radio show is the best thing going on ESPN, Fox, CBS, NBC and all sports airwaves in terms of daily programming.

Have you seen the show with his father?

I must say, I get the strong dislike for Le Batard’s shows. But after not being able to stand his sing songy speaking style, I’ve come around a bit. I still think he is probably really annoying, but I find his radio show really entertaining.

The problem with ESPN in a nutshell...do we really need to fuse sports, race and culture? Isn’t sports enough?

I agree, although don't forget about Dan Patrick. I think he has the best sports related show on TV.

Lebatard is great as long as he keeps bomani jones off his show, and stays away from racial topics. I mean who doesn't love Ron McGill, the grid of death, and everything greg cote? and for my money, the greatest and funniest thing on TV is the looks like game with kurkjian...

While we would all (I presume), like to watch a game to get away from the day-to-day grind, the fact remains that sport is a reflection of the society we live in. Prof. John Lucas said that in a class I attended 45 years ago and I think he was right.

Meh, I’ve never believed that. Sports is sports in my world. Nothing more, nothing less.

Sports is a game...if someone makes it more than that, it’s on them.
