PA Turnpike failed to collect $104 million in tolls....

I used the turnpike the last week in July and have been waiting for a bill to come in the mail. Now it’s mid September and I haven’t seen a thing.

Ugh, I can’t believe they brought that commercial back. It was tiresome enough the first time around.

OK, but the PA Turnpike was built between 1940 and 1956, well before the majority of the adjoining properties were developed. Further, the PA Turnpike generally has secondary and tertiary roads that support it and local traffic.

And, if you moved near the turnpike and planned on using it for commute, wouldn't you already know it's a toll road? It's not like it's some big surprise.

So, not sure what you mean when people are adversely affected if the Turnpike was there before they moved to that location, that it has always been a toll road and that secondary and tertiary roads exist to support local traffic.
Virtually every new highway built in southwest PA gets a toll slapped on it.

Wow. September. I don’t know where in the hell March came from.

It comes from the Roman calendar, and was named after Mars, the God of War. But that's not important now.
