Saw a thread here last night where someone mentioned park whiz. Couldn't find it again today. Have never used that...is it reliable? I remember the poster said he found a lot for $20.... After looking briefly at their website...is that for the entire day or just for the evening? Small town girl here so would appreciate advice. We would be driving to OH Friday night and arriving in Indy before noon Sat. TIA

There is tons of parking in downtown. Every vacant lot has a person manning it. For colts games, it's about $15-$20 up to about $50 if you're on the next street over. Indy is easily drivable, it's not like NYC or anything. Drive around and find a spot, you'll have no problem.

Anxiously awaiting Mr. Dumptruck's letter to the editor when they won't let him park in Indy.

Were I going, I'd park at the zoo and walk across the Washington St. bridge (old US 40). But I'm a zoo member.... [They do tend to offer parking for events however.]

I reserved parking through ParkWhiz this morning - very easy process. Many locations to choose from at the moment.

Do you know if we can park at the Convention Center for the day / event? Thanks.

What about late night transportation. How easy will it be to get cab or some kind of shuttle from stadium area to airport after game?

You can take line 8 from the stadium area to the airport for $2, not sure if it runs at 1am when the game will end, or if there'd even be a flight until the morning. It's like a 45 minute car ride though, so uber/taxi is going to be expensive (around $100), but still cheaper than a car. The shuttle bus is $10 from downtown to the stadium, but that's not going to be running that late.

here's a 15% off coupon code for parkwhiz: owrc7i4e

Also, it says that you can cancel right up until your reserved arrive time, so I guess if you get there and find something cheaper, you can bail.
