Was it Mel Kiper or Todd McShay that said he wouldn’t be a good fit for KC and questioned them picking him? 50 TD passes later I guess they were wrong.
I've always thought if Kiper really knew what he was talking about, an NFL team would have hired him a long time ago. The fact he's still bloviating on ESPN says it all.
Bill Polian is on line 1, he disagrees with this.In fairness to Kiper, I think he does a pretty decent job of relaying what professional scouts think. He’s never come off to me as a guy who thought he was the expert, just that he spoke to the experts and this is what they think. McShay is a tool who tried to project some sort of knowledge of the game that he just doesn’t have.

Her's the bad news. How far do he and the chiefs go in the playoffs with Andy Reid as the coach?

Mel has a good gig. I would do it. His opinions and scoops are for entertainment value and should be taken as such. He used to do an ESPN radio show on Saturday mornings that was quite good as well. He’s better on the radio than most of the dorks they roll out.
