PBP tonight?

Those able to watch..surprised by DT score?
Yeah, it was a little surprising, but Dean wrestled a smart (Dake coached) match, and I think DT wore himself out a bit trying to wear Dean down. DT was slicker and remains the best scrambler on the planet. But it was close, Dean had a chance to win it.

Zach Hartman vs. Joe Lee

Pass by (or slide by) for Joe Lee for the TD and he pins him in :21! Looked like a bow and arrow to a pin...

Joe Lee wins by pin!
I foresee Cael after winning 30 national championships at Penn State being the number 1 management consultant on the planet. The way he identifies, recruits, lands, develops and peaks athletes is on a completely different level.

Let the record show, I liked Gilman before it was cool. In retrospect, I’m even glad he beat lil’ Nicky. Still glad Nico beat him though.

Question, a FB wrestling friend thought that DT had 20 lbs on Gabe. To me Gabe looked very thick and I did not notice a big difference in size. Opinions of others?

And I know, eye check means nothing, just wondering other's opinions.

thought they were even. DT did say he was 'down to weight and ready to go' (or something like that).

Dean has always made everyone look a step slow. For example: Bo Nickal.

Agree. First one should have been 2 and 2
I agree also. Moreover, it brings to mind a question of whether they should have the brick protest in these matches. In the subject match, IMO Humphries wins the protest, it goes back to 2-0 for him, and match resumes on their feet with him up 2-0. It had no impact on the outcome of the immediate match, but as they continue to provide excellent, competitive matches, it should be considered.

Not surprisingly, 24 hours after the NLWC event and there is not one word on FloWrestling regarding last evening’s matches. I mean, I get it that they wouldn’t want to promote an event hosted by a competitor, but to totally ghost the most successful wrestling program in the last decade and who has arguably the largest following is simply childish and shameful. The hole they’re digging just gets deeper.

Any criticism they notice will trigger 2 or 3 well placed tweets and a few throwaway FRL mentions. The good thing is that all this pressure is forcing action (e.g. their ramped up events, pushing women’s wrestling, etc). It’s getting harder for them to continue this type of charade.

I will be fascinated to see what happens if the court stiffs them on damages or awards them a token amount. They’ve sunk a ton of money and reputation into this anti-Rokfin crusade, so if it doesn’t pay off, things are going to get interesting

The brick in freestyle isn’t like a challenge in NCAA, it wouldn’t revert to 2-0 if it was a 2-2 exchange that was originally scored 0-2.
