Peetz Pool Boy (guess who just bought another painting?).................

I do like that one also. Bright, autumn colors... Might conflict with your previous purchase if you hang them too close together. Probably best hung on a light neutral wall for maximum effect, but it definitately will be a print your guests discuss.

I didn't see where the "original" was available for purchase. Instead of a framed print for $69, how much do you think the original watercolor sold for? That site has good pricing.

Congrats

No. I didn't buy the originals of either picture. Although, if the first one was available, I would have considered it. It was, IMO, worth the $4600 he got for it.

This particular picture will go in a space just before my loft.

Both of these are on the hallway going up the staircase (both 30X40):

In my living room, above the couch, I have my baby (60X40):

I would have bought the original of the Venice Dawning, too, if it was still available. But, it wasn't.

All good chices. I am surprised at the seemingly low prices for Leonid Afremov's works. He seems to only be asking $300 or so for oil originals. I don't really like the ones he has listed ,but perhaps he'll paint more.

Given your affinity for Italia, are you considering adding any prints of other areas such as Amalfi, Sorrento, Florence/Umbria, Como or Genoa?

Sculptures. Artistic sculptures, mostly. The "Dancing Fire" is probably my last painting. I just don't have any more wall space for another painting, unfortunately. And, I don't think I can justify paying the exorbitant amount to get it framed.

However, I haven't yet decided what I will paint (well, not me, but an artist friend of mine). But, I have an arch in my forer that I want painted alla fresco style. So, yes, I need a mural that "fits" with the theme of my home, I'm not saying that this is what will be painted. But, it will be similar. Amalfi or Portofino or Lake Como...something along those lines. This is a sample that caught my eye.

Too cheesy (fromaggio) if you ask me. You want a scene that is a bit more authentic... Firstly, there aren't any Italians in that scene. Why wouldn't anyone be out strolling or dining on such a beautiful morning?
