Pelosi said the people are getting crumbs from the tax reform bill passed by Trump and the Rs....not one D vote.

One over 3 million people are getting a $1000 bonus.
Many of those are getting pay raises as most of these companies said they will also increase their starting pay. I don't know how big a raise that is but say it is an average of a $1/hr. That equates to about $2000/yr. And this is for the lowest paid so it is a big help. And if the lowest get paid more, people up the chain will also likely get raises.
The tax cuts will be starting this month. Many will be getting cuts in the $2-3000 range per household for the middle class.
Since the bonus and pay raise are taxable that means the lower paid will get a total of about $4500 to $5500 per year. That is a huge jump. And that doesn't factor in things like IRAs, KEOGHs, and salary increases as companies compete for labor in a tight labor market.
