If Penn St finishes 10-2 at worst and Minny loses both to Iowa and Wisconsin that means Wisky wins the West. They lose to OSU and finish 10-3. Think we go to the Rose Bowl.
If Minny splits those two games and finishes 11-1, they lose to OSU big and finish 11-2 vs Penn State’s 10-2? Perhaps they drop below Penn St in the committee’s eyes based on SOS and we still go to the Rose Bowl. Since the committee chooses the teams for the big bowls. That’s probably optimistic on my part.
Worst case is we still get a NY6 bowl game as a 10-2 team. What do you guys think?
