My Penn State football chat will begin this week Thursday, May 20 at 2 PM and any topic relating to the Penn State football program will be open to discussion. But if it is at all possible I would like the discussion to center around how well the Penn State football team is prepared for the 2021 season coming out of spring practice. Penn State's first 2021 summer semester began this week on Monday, May 17 and five members of Penn State's class of 2021 enrolled at Penn State. They were: Harvard OG transfer Eric Wilson [6-4, 215], Sam OLB Jamari Buddin [6-2, 220] from Belleville, Mich., BS Jaylen Reed [6-0, 196] from Detroit, Mich., WR Harrison Wallace III [6-1, 185] from Pike Road, Ala. and WR/FS Zakee Wheatley [6-2, 185] from Crofton, Md. Plus in essentially three weeks the weekend of June 4-6, Penn State will start receiving official visits from players from the class of 2022. The recruiting "Dead Period" ends on May 31. It appears Penn State could have over 40 official visits in June.
It is going to be a very busy month of June for James Franklin and his coaching staff.
