I just read an article in USA Today that analyzed recruiting expenditures in college football at the major universities.
If I read it correctly, Penn State was ranked #5 in the country for spending the most. They were also ranked #1 in the Big 10 . Michigan was ranked 2nd in the Big 10. Penn State spent over $500k more than Michigan. I don’t believe it indicated how much Penn State spent. Sorry, I could not link the article.
